Privacy Policy

This website is operated by River’s Edge Durango LLC, doing business as River’s Edge Wellness Center, at 1521 Main Avenue, Durango, Colorado 81301.

This policy explains what we collect through this website, why, and what we do with it. It covers riversedgedurango.com and nothing else.

It does not cover the health and treatment information you give us as a client of the practice. That is handled differently and is described in Your Health Information.

We collect very little. We do not run advertising trackers on this site, we do not sell anything online, and we do not sell or rent your information to anyone. Most of what we hold is what you typed into a form because you wanted to hear from us.

When you fill in the contact form. Your first and last name, email address, phone number, the subject category you chose, and whatever you write in the message field.

When you apply for a job. Your first and last name, email address, phone number, the position you are applying for, your message, and your résumé file (PDF or Word).

When you simply read the site. Our hosting provider records ordinary server information — IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time. This is standard web server logging used for security and reliability. We do not use it to build a profile of you.

What we collect automatically. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages get read; it does not tell us who you are. We use the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure our advertising. It reports the pages you view on this site back to Meta, including pages about specific treatments, and Meta may match that to your Facebook or Instagram account. You can limit this in your Meta account settings, or block it with your browser or an ad blocker. We do not sell products online, so we never see or store your payment card details through this site.

This website sets analytics cookies, set by Google Analytics so we can count visits and see which pages get read and advertising cookies, set by the Meta (Facebook) pixel so we can measure our ads and show them to people who have visited this site. We do not sell what either of them collects.

Some cookies may be set by our hosting platform for basic operation and security, and by the booking system described below when you open it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site will still work.

When you click a booking button, our booking provider Boulevard opens its own scheduling window. Anything you enter there — your name, contact details, the service you book, your payment card — goes to Boulevard, not to this website. We never receive or store your card number. The same is true of gift card purchases and client login, which also run on Boulevard.

If you use the Cherry payment-plan option, you leave this site entirely for Cherry’s own application, and Cherry’s privacy policy governs what happens there.

These providers handle your information under their own privacy policies and our agreements with them. We recommend reading Boulevard’s if you book online.

Contact form and job application submissions are delivered to River’s Edge staff by email and stored in Airtable, a database service we use to make sure nothing gets lost and that someone actually replies to you.

Access is limited to River’s Edge staff who need it — front desk and management for enquiries, management for job applications.

Our contact page embeds a Google Map. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy. We have no control over that and receive nothing from it.

We display our Google review rating. That rating is fetched by our server from Google, not by your browser, so viewing it sends nothing about you to Google.

Only for these purposes:

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not use website form submissions to send you marketing unless you separately ask to hear from us.

We share personal information only with:

Contact form submissions: 24 months from the date you contact us.
Job applications from candidates we do not hire: 12 months from the date you apply.
Server logs: as retained by our hosting provider.

We delete or anonymise information when we no longer need it. If you ask us to delete something sooner, see “Your choices” below.

We use reputable providers, restrict staff access to those who need it, and serve this site over an encrypted connection. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — but we do not keep anything on this website that we do not need.

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.
