An experience, riverside
After your treatment, enjoy a tea or drink while you look out at the river, and view the art on display throughout the building. If you're unsure what your skin needs, come in for a consultation — we'll build the right plan together.

What makes a facial “medical”
A spa facial works on the surface: cleanse, steam, extract, mask, massage. It feels wonderful and it does real good for congestion and circulation — but it is designed to be entirely safe with no supervision, which caps how far it can go.
A medical facial starts where that ceiling is. Prescription-strength acids, higher-percentage retinoids, enzymes, and devices that would be unsafe without a provider assessing your skin first. The protocol is built around a diagnosis — melasma, cystic acne, rosacea, photoaging — rather than around a menu name.
That also means it is charted. Every visit records what was used, at what strength, and how your skin responded, so the next appointment builds on the last instead of starting over.
What we reach for, and when
No two protocols are identical. These are the tools on the tray — which ones we use, and at what strength, is decided at your skin assessment.
Glycolic, salicylic, TCA, and Jessner’s at strengths tailored to your skin and your downtime tolerance. Light peels flake for two or three days; deeper ones for a week.
A sterile blade removes vellus hair and the outermost dead layer. Products absorb better afterward and makeup sits flat. No downtime — often paired with a light peel.
Pumpkin, papaya, and bromelain enzymes for sensitive or reactive skin, plus clinical vitamin C, niacinamide, and retinoid infusions dosed for your skin type.
Under magnification, with steam and the right instruments — the difference between clearing a pore and scarring one. Handled by a licensed esthetician, never rushed.
Blue light for acne bacteria, red for inflammation and collagen. Added at the end of most protocols because it costs no downtime and compounds the result.
Most conditions need a series of four to six visits spaced two to four weeks apart, with a home regimen between. We will tell you plainly if one facial is enough.
Questions, answered honestly
It depends on your concern: microneedling for scars, fine lines, and firmness; peels for pigmentation and acne; microdermabrasion for texture and dullness; dermaplane for instant smoothness. A consultation maps the right plan.
Both amplify microneedling. PRP uses growth factors drawn from your own blood; VAMP is a concentrated regenerative serum that penetrates the microchannels. Your provider will recommend the better fit for your goals.
Dermaplane and microdermabrasion have none. Microneedling brings a day or two of redness like a light sunburn; deeper peels can flake for several days. We'll walk you through aftercare for your specific treatment.
Dermaplane and microdermabrasion shine even as one-offs; microneedling and peels typically deliver their best results as a series of 3–6 spaced about a month apart.
Every 4–6 weeks matches your skin's natural renewal cycle. Deeper treatments like peels and microneedling run as a spaced series — your esthetician will map the calendar with you.
What to expect
Come a few minutes early, settle in, and share your goals — every medical facials visit starts with a short, unhurried check-in so the session fits you, not a template.
Your provider tailors the work to your body and comfort as you go — speak up anytime; adjusting is part of the craft.
You leave with honest aftercare guidance — what to expect tonight, and how to keep the benefit building between visits.
One roof, every discipline
Clinical services run under the direction of Ashley Sutton, FNP-MSN — spa comfort with medical standards behind it.
Day spa, medspa, Western medicine, and Eastern medicine under one roof — your plan can draw from all four.
Every visit ends riverside — linger in the River Room or on the rooftop instead of rushing back to the car.
Pairs well with
Medical facials slots naturally into a larger plan — many clients stack these in the same visit or alternate them through the season.
