Light touch. Profound calm.
A gentle yet powerful hands-on technique that releases tension, promotes relaxation, and restores balance to the nervous system. Working with the body's natural rhythms, our practitioners ease restrictions in the craniosacral system — relieving stress, headaches, chronic pain, and more.
What gentle work unwinds
Get your life unstuck
Our integrated bodywork combines the gentle but powerful healing touch of craniosacral therapy, energy work, and various forms of bodywork. Working with the nervous system, fluid system, muscles, and pressure points, this unique treatment relieves physical patterns of pain, frees the body's flow of energy, improves function, enhances circulation, and promotes tissue repair. Restful, restorative, and deeply healing.
Five grams of pressure, and why that is enough
Craniosacral therapy works with the membranes and fluid that surround the brain and spinal cord. The touch is famously light — about the weight of a nickel — because the system it addresses responds to invitation rather than force.
Deep tissue asks a guarded body to submit. Craniosacral asks it to let go. For people whose bodies brace against pressure — chronic pain, trauma history, fibromyalgia — that difference decides whether the session helps at all.
The therapist’s hands track where the tissue is willing to move and wait there. Release happens on the body’s timeline. That is why sessions look like almost nothing is happening and feel like a great deal did.
Migraines, tension headaches, TMJ, and post-concussion fog are the most common reasons people are referred to us. The membranes involved attach directly to the structures generating those symptoms.
The dural tube runs from the cranium to the sacrum, so low back and pelvic complaints are often addressed from the head, and vice versa. Where we place our hands is rarely where you feel the problem.
Infants with feeding or latch trouble, people in acute pain, those post-surgery or mid-treatment, and the elderly all tolerate this work when nothing else is appropriate. Nothing is forced and nothing hurts.
Many people feel spacious and slightly floaty leaving, then notice the real change over the next two or three days. We tell you this in advance so you do not judge the session by the first twenty minutes after it.
Questions, answered honestly
Extremely gentle — the practitioner's touch is about the weight of a nickel, applied to the head, spine, and sacrum. Most clients sink into deep stillness; many fall asleep.
Stress and anxiety, headaches and migraines, chronic pain, TMJ and jaw tension, sleep quality, head trauma recovery, and general nervous system regulation.
There's no muscle kneading — CRT works with the craniosacral rhythm and fluid system using featherweight touch. It complements massage rather than replacing it.
Some feel a shift after one 30-minute session; deeper patterns typically unwind over a short series. Your practitioner will suggest a rhythm at your first visit.
Touch is featherlight — about the weight of a nickel — mostly at the head, neck, and sacrum. Most clients drop into deep stillness within minutes; many fall asleep.
What to expect
Come a few minutes early, settle in, and share your goals — every cranial sacral visit starts with a short, unhurried check-in so the session fits you, not a template.
Your provider tailors the work to your body and comfort as you go — speak up anytime; adjusting is part of the craft.
You leave with honest aftercare guidance — what to expect tonight, and how to keep the benefit building between visits.
One roof, every discipline
Clinical services run under the direction of Ashley Sutton, FNP-MSN — spa comfort with medical standards behind it.
Day spa, medspa, Western medicine, and Eastern medicine under one roof — your plan can draw from all four.
Every visit ends riverside — linger in the River Room or on the rooftop instead of rushing back to the car.
Pairs well with
Cranial sacral slots naturally into a larger plan — many clients stack these in the same visit or alternate them through the season.
