Rebuild your skin from the surface down

The Science

Micro-injuries, macro renewal

The iPixel handpiece delivers the Erbium laser in a fractional grid — treating thousands of pixel-sized columns of skin while leaving the tissue between them intact. Those untouched bridges dramatically speed healing, while the treated columns trigger your skin's full repair response: old, damaged tissue is remodeled and fresh collagen is built in its place.

1
Fractional delivery

The Erbium beam is split into a pixel grid — thousands of micro-columns treated, healthy bridges left intact between them.

2
Repair response

Each column triggers the skin's full healing cascade — damaged tissue is cleared and remodeled from within.

3
Collagen rebuild

Fresh collagen and elastin fill in over the following weeks — texture smooths, pores refine, scars soften.

The Healing Timeline

Ten days that earn you ten years

Days 1–3. The skin is hot, swollen, and weeping — the same as a deep sunburn. You stay home, keep the occlusive ointment on, and sleep elevated. Nothing about this stage is subtle, and everyone is surprised by it.

Days 4–7. Swelling drops, the surface dries, and peeling begins. Do not pick. Underneath, keratinocytes are migrating across the treated area from the untouched columns of skin the fractional pattern left behind.

Days 8–14. New skin, bright pink and tight. Makeup is usually fine by day ten. Strict sun avoidance from here — pigment that returns now is pigment we cannot undo.

Months 2–6. The real result. Collagen remodeling continues for six months, so texture, scarring, and fine lines keep improving long after the redness has gone. We photograph at three and six months, not at two weeks.

Ablative FAQ

Questions, answered honestly

Expect redness and a sandpaper texture for several days as the treated columns heal — far shorter than traditional CO2 resurfacing. Most clients are comfortable in public within a few days and see full radiance build over weeks.

Topical numbing is applied first; most clients describe warmth and prickling. Your comfort is monitored throughout the session.

Lighter texture concerns often improve in 1–2 sessions; deeper scarring typically takes a series of 3–5 spaced about a month apart. Your consultation includes an honest count and a full quote.

Ablative (iPixel) removes micro-columns of tissue for maximum remodeling with some downtime. Non-ablative (ClearLift) works beneath intact skin with zero downtime but gentler results. Many plans layer both.

Arrive with clean skin and avoid sun exposure, tanning, and retinoids for the week prior. Plan your calendar around the healing window — most clients book Thursday or Friday and are presentable by Monday.
